Testimony from Patricia W.

I thank God for allowing MVCC to be apart of what he is doing in Tecate Mexico at Valley Rodondo ranch. God is truly raising up His army of missionaries across the Globe, yes even in Temecula. It was exciting to see so many missionaries out at 4:am,with willing hearts to serve God by serving others that were not from the same community. Working to accomplish a common goal of sharing His love & the good news of Jesus Christ. Our team had the privilege to serve in prayer. We prayed for Tecate as well as our MVCC family before the trip, and continued to pray with several families in Tecate in our prayer tent, with the support of Spanish translators. What an awesome blessing that was! to pray for those that were in need of prayer. Most of our team were first time missionaries, that God gave servants hearts. I was truly blessed to have served beside them on the mission field in Tecate. Our team has already
began to plan & prepare for next year.

Praise God !

Mission Update

All of the glory to GOD!!

We personally would like to thank all the MVCC family for their support of the Tecate (Valle Redondo) Mission Trip 2008!! There were 75 missionaries that went. The Team Leaders did a wonderful job! All the missionaries did a wonderful job too, working at all times. One of the projects was the roof, it was in the works for 4 yrs, now 50% of it was completed, the bathroom roof was 85% completed because there was no roof at all, the wind blew it away. We provided bags of food that included, rice, beans, flour, oil, soups, sugar & small emergency kits. We also, provided school supplies that included notebooks, crayons, pencils, pens, erasers & sharpeners. We also, provided 4 walking canes. We gave a great deal of feminine supplies & travel size hygiene packs! Not only did we feed Valle Redondo brothers & sisters, but we also had food for everyone at the Ranch & all missionaries! We had hot dogs, hamburgers, potatoes chips, chocolate chip cookies, watermelon, lemonade and water. One of the many blessings was that we have a connection we have been praying all along. The minister's name is Luciano Abendano he brought his live music and it was such a blessing! "I thought I was in a Revival" Dr. Walker & team were able to help a man with diabetes that was bitten by a coyote about 8 months ago with no medical attention at all. There is a great need at the ranch, especially Medical & Dental but always Food. Our prayer is that in December 2008, God will bless us with 150 shoe boxes for family and kids, as we continue to build relationships. We gave minister Luciano 4 boxes of Bibles and the rest of the supplies and food. After Pastor Armando from our own MVCC gave the Word, 8 souls came to CHRIST!! And we left them in the capable hands of Minister Luciano and his church members. We feel there was a great accomplishment on this trip and every mission trip is different, but this time the new souls that were saved, they weren't left alone to continue on their Worldly Life, but in the hands of Godly people.
The vision for Tecate (Valley Redondo) is when we go there next time; that we will come together as we have been, have American food and Mexican food! That we would spend a weekend having a men, women & youth conference, with food & music! As we build relationships, we find out more and more specific needs of our brothers and sisters in Tecate. As we prepare to partner up in year 2009!

In his service and with humble hearts, we thank GOD for the Church Family that God has given us!

We love you in Jesus name, Mike Sr. & Rosa McFadden (Family)

Comment from Missionary Olisha T.

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

I am so thankful for this blog. What an AWESOME opportunity it is to be able to share our mission experience with those individuals who wanted to go on this trip, but was unable to; and it is equally important to note that it’s also an opportunity to personally “thank” all the prayer warriors out there who prayed without ceasing that God would bless this trip. Our father kept us safe, he allowed us to fellowship with the Tecate families and we were right there with open arms when the families accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! This was my first mission trip and one that I will never forget! May God bless all those who served and lifted up this Mission team in prayer.
I would also like to thank Tinina for the beautiful job she has done with this blog. God is using her in a mighty way and I know that she will receive many blessings for sharing and spreading the good news about what God is doing on the mission field.
