Thank you so much for your prayers, I came back in one piece and no problems! Praise the Lord! I left Friday night July 18th after work and arrived around 8:00 pm. On Saturday July 19th my brother and I went downtown and purchased Rice, Beans, Flour, Sugar, oil, individual packets of soups, 1 Piñata and 2 big bags of charcoal. Its been a whole year since we have had to purchase this amount of food; We usually buy the same amount each year, however we did noticed this year, the food was more expensive., but I know the Lord will provide. My brother Alex and I drove to the Ranch dropped the food off at my Uncle's house. We went to clean up the area, so when all of Mountain View Mission Team & the families at the Ranch show up the area will look better. The name of the Ranch is called "Valle Redondo". On Sunday Morning 7/20/08, we drove back to Tijuana to purchase the material needed for the roof. After dropping off the roof materials at my Uncle’s house, we then handed out about 50 flyers. I also met with the minister, Luciano Abendano and he has confirmed he will be there. His Church services are on at 7:00 pm on Tuesday & Fridays and. at 11:00 am on Sunday. Currently his services are outdoors right now, but he will soon have an indoor space to conduct the services. At this time, he is walking around with other members house to house sharing the Gospel and praying for the families. He has been praying for Mountain View Members! And is looking forward for to our visit next Saturday. He plans to bring some music, so be ready to sing! I left Sunday around 6:30 pm and it took 1 1/2 hours to cross the border (through Tijuana) the weather was hot and a little windy, so make sure you bring a hat.
